In a quaint neighborhood, divorced Estelle decides to create a book club to try and improve the finances of her little café, but it turns out to be a much more daring idea than she ever imagined. Seeing that the first meeting is a bit forced, Estelle suggests an erotic book to light the spark and encourage the club members, who accept the decision with some suspicion. However, little by little, inspired by this reading, each of the participants ends up shaking off their inhibitions and discovering a new facet of themselves with surprising results.
El Club de Lectura de las Chicas Traviesas recounts the stories of how different people face their sexuality through a list of books for daring readers but above all is a cheeky and sexy novel that destroys all kinds of clichés about erotic literature. To communicate this light-hearted concept, the cover design makes use of a pair of cartoonishly sexy female legs diving into the book itself. The italicized typography of the title is also indicative of the romantic narrative with a spicy twist.
