CLASSIC BOOK COVERS

Classic books are written in all genres, styles and themes symbolizing excellence, endurance, cultural relevance and tradition. They break boundaries, make history and shape our lives.

While “classics” may evoke dusty old tomes, from all peoples and cultures, or even Greek and Roman epics (which are actually classical literature), classics, both older and modern, abound, with disparate and well-respected titles such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Moby Dick and The Bell Jar.

The expression “instant classic” refers to books that are beloved from the day they hit bookstore shelves and book selling websites and include titles such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, A Gentleman in Moscow and Pachinko.

We can help you with your classic book cover design!

Coverkitchen teams with independent authors and publishing companies, creating stunning and memorable classic book covers for reissues, new editions and fresh translations.

We’ve designed book covers for treasured works and authors from around the world, including Ray Bradbury, Sōseki Natsume, Homer and Arthur Conan Doyle. These covers offer new and original perspectives on iconic works, like yours!

Whether an independent author or an international publishing company, nothing represents your book like its cover: it’s a critical marketing and branding tool. You need an experienced and talented design team to render your ideas and vision into a unique and original design that attracts attention and generates sales!

Will you write the next classic?

Distinctive writing, universal themes, remarkable world-building and timeless characters are what make a book a “classic.” While there will never be another Hemingway or J.K. Rowling, your voice, experience and observations are just as valid and worthy: maybe the next classic is sitting on your word processor right now!

When you’re ready, the Coverkitchen design team will help make your book and name as familiar as Tolstoy, Mark Twain or Suzanne Collins of The Hunger Games fame!

Classics come in all genres, languages and style

Classics are not limited by genre, language, culture or writing style. Every nation has treasured literature considered classic.

Our team works with authors and publishers from all over the globe, creating book covers for books that are as unique and original as the cultures that produce them, including world famous titles such as Fahrenheit 451, Rashomon and Odyssey.

Classic Authors are as recognizable as their books!

Coverkitchen has created cover designs for audiobooks, new editions and Spanish language versions of incredible titles and authors like Ursula K. Le Guin, Arthur Conan Doyle, William Gibson and Natsume Sōseki, just to name a few. These authors are as well known and beloved as the works they create - maybe your book is a classic just waiting to be discovered: a unique and eye-catching book cover is a great way to get your name out there!

Classics Book Cover Design is only limited by imagination

Classic literature is as varied as the world around us and found in all nations and cultures. Coverkitchen recognizes that every book deserves a unique, appealing and eyeball-grabbing cover that stands out from bookstore shelves, retail displays and online bookselling websites.

Every detail, from the color palette to the typography and imagery is carefully considered and rendered by experts to create an original book cover experience!
