You Need a Great Book Cover!

must pop from bookstore displays and book-selling websites, generating clicks and sales. Coverkitchen cooks up visually stunning book covers worthy of the hours you spend writing and the work you put into your book. Here’s some recent examples from the Coverkitchen master chefs:

Ganbatte!: The Japanese Art of Always Moving Forward

Albert Liebermann examines the Japanese expression: “Ganbatte” (i.e., give it your best, don’t give up, hang in there!). The book explores ways to deal with overcoming obstacles, failures and the many pitfalls we face every day. The beautiful cover evokes Katsushika Hokusai’s famous woodblock print work, The Great Wave navigated by the small and vulnerable origami boat atop.

Path

The delicate and beautiful hand-drawn title and simple subtitle echo the book's themes of nature and personal growth while also suggesting movement (such as walking into the woods). The flower accenting the title conveys love and beauty while the cover as a whole reflects meditation and inner peace.

Læren om blæren

At 27 Ms. Bulla, a journalist living in Germany, suddenly developed an irritable bladder: a very common though embarrassing condition. This book explores bladder and urinary issues from a woman’s perspective, offering a light and humorous take on a serious subject. The cover’s artwork and imagery convey anxiety and discomfort while the typography personalizes and draws a bond between reader and author.
