A collection produced by Singapore’s Ministry of Education, Lines Spark Code gathers contemporary poems into a movement to ground the study of English poetry on Singaporean soil and brings teachers and students into face-to-face dialogue with the very poets whose lines will spark code-making in brilliant essays yet to be written.

To reflect this interactive and educational aspect, the book cover features a specially designed jacket that can be disposed of, leaving behind a book cover to be personalized by the reader by coloring in the dots. The concept of teaching and interpreting poetry is applied to the cover through equal levels of creative freedom of interpretation.
