Thriller
The successful and attractive Carla and her uncommunicative teenage daughter, Lola, live together in a large, luxurious apartment. Both are independent as each other and do not need others to get what they want. From the day that Lola became a woman herself, the only thing they have shared is the wall that separates their bedrooms. Behind it, Carla lives nights of unbridled sex with strangers, while, on the other side, Lola is ashamed of her fantasies. In hiding, both seek refuge in dating apps. However, on the other side of the screen await nightmares from which the mother and daughter can only escape if they decide to trust each other. The result is a murky and addictive thriller that confronts us with our darker side.
For the cover design of this erotic thriller, our cover cooks simmered seductive images of Carla and Lola, both wearing full faces of makeup and hiding behind fragments of broken glass in dark silence. The cracks, of both the phone screen and within their relationship, separate the women while simultaneously setting the ominous tone. The title too has been split and no longer aligns; the only way for the mother and daughter to save themselves is by coming together and joining forces.
