The book's cover design uses an anguished photograph of Dante himself to reflect the torture felt as he explores the further reaches of himself, ever pushed by the Devil's deceitful questions. In turn, this also illuminates the darkness within the book's pages. The image, which received a fiery sepia treatment, appears as if it's been folded over and over again, alluding to mankind's historic mistakes constantly being repeated.
