A gripping series by international bestselling author, Samuel Bjørk, that embodies the very best of Scandinavian crime fiction. Viajo Sola (2014) kicks off with a six-year-old girl found dead in the woods, hanging from a tree with a sign around her neck reading 'I am traveling alone'. Special homicide investigator from Oslo, Holger Munch, calls upon brilliant but suicidal investigator Mia Krüger to leave her isolation on an island to help track down the killer. More dead girls appear until Munch's own granddaughter goes missing, throwing the detectives into an explosive race against time to capture the serial killer.

El Niño en la Nieve (2019) opens with an old man driving home one snowy night during the winter of 1996, when his headlights catch a young boy, frightened and alone, with a set of deer antlers strapped firmly to his head. Fourteen years later, a body is found in a mountain lake and Special Investigations Detectives Munch and Krüger are once again called upon to play a deadly game with the most dangerous and terrifying kind of serial killer.

Seeking a fresh approach to the typical bleak photographs of scenery and muted palette of Scandinvian crime fiction, our cover cooks concocted a design using minimalistic illustrations with haunting lettering. A stark combination of black and a bright accent color that changes for each instalment, provides the series with a distinctive psychological punch. Our design for Viajo Sola was selected as one of the best book covers of 2014 in Spain.
