Welcome to the Hotel Yalta:
Six Stories of Cold War Noir

From the author of The Bone Church and The Hungarian, comes a white knuckle tour de force of Cold War noir; a collection of espionage tales each set in Eastern European cities. An heiress who can’t seem to keep her legs closed. A Russian plan for dominating the space race. An assassin with a penchant for rich food and sadistic murder. When you’re alone in the cold, passion and betrayal are commodities and love hangs on by an icy thread.
Our cover cooks proposed a design that mimics the bold constructivist style of Soviet propaganda graphics. The layering shapes in the illustration echo the unseemingly connected characters that plague the stories with sarcasm and confusion.
