Translating to 'make a wish', Bir Dilek Tut follows the beautiful and clever Cemre, who ever since her teenage years has been unlucky in love. Following the betrayal of her latest boyfriend Mert, abandoning her at a temple in Nepal, Cemre makes a wish that all men would love her to take her revenge. Soon, her wish comes true and all men start to fall in love after seeing her. The chaos and mayhem become too dangerous for Cemre and an accident puts her in a coma. The only person who can save Cemre is her childhood friend, Umut, who has been in love with Cemre his entire life.

As the author took inspiration from the Greek story of King Midas and His Golden Touch, our cover cooks too looked to ancient mythology as their source of inspiration. The editor had also requested a fun and colorful recipe with a hint of romance, as such, a playful Cupid illustration made the perfect main ingredient. The ancient Roman god of love in all its varieties, Cupid often appeared as a winged infant carrying a bow and quiver of love inducing arrows. By replacing his bow with a machine gun, our cover cooks subtly hint at the danger in which Cemre soon finds herself.
